Jake Weinberg

ASSOCIATE

Jake Weinberg, Associate, provides support on a wide range of energy issues in relation to wholesale power markets rules, processes, and policy related issues.

As part of the firm’s Regional Transmission Organization (RTO) Division, Mr. Weinberg assists clients navigate the complex business and legal intricacies of RTOs.  Mr. Weinberg largely focuses his time on the Midcontinent Independent System Operator (MISO) and participates in numerous committees and working groups. He also provides support in the Southwest Power Pool (SPP).

Prior to joining Gabel Associates, Mr. Weinberg served as a Litigation Associate focusing on a wide array of complex litigation and legal matters. Mr. Weinberg regularly served as lead counsel, handling matters from case inception, discovery, trial, and post-trial motion and appellate practice.
