Rebecca Stadelmeyer, Director with Gabel Associates' Wholesale Power & Markets Services Group, has more than 21 years of experience in energy, wholesale, and policy related issues. She undertakes monitoring and reporting of PJM activities, supports wholesale energy market transactions, and provides strategic advice on overall regional transmission organization (RTO) operations and procedures.

Ms. Stadelmeyer is a leading subject matter expert in PJM markets and operations, as demonstrated through her previous leadership roles at both PJM and Exelon. She has an in-depth understanding of wholesale market rules and structures, including regulatory structures impacting markets such as FERC and state public utility commissions, and frequently translates their technical complexities into strategic planning and guidance for clients. In addition, Ms. Stadelmeyer holds a strong understanding of the PJM generation transfer process, membership process, Market Settlement Reporting System (MSRS) and Transmission Owner rates.

Ms. Stadelmeyer actively monitors issues at PJM (the largest grid operator in the country) and analyzes the impact that potential changes may have on markets and client business objectives, with a sharp focus on operations and market issues including Capacity Performance and Reserve Price Formation. Through her active participation in PJM, Ms. Stadelmeyer provides frequent reports to clients on various issues, as well as ongoing strategic advice and advocacy services.

Prior to joining Gabel Associates, Ms. Stadelmeyer held numerous roles at PJM Interconnection, including Manager of Market Settlement Development, Manager of Client Management, and Senior Consultant. Through her previous roles, she managed teams responsible for overseeing all business and technical requirements of the PJM billing system and the handling of over 12,000 annual client inquiries, while developing new efficiencies to streamline complex requests such as generation transfer and deactivation. Ms. Stadelmeyer contributed to the implementation of major rule change market foundations including Capacity Performance, 5-minute Settlement, and CP Ramp Rate, and facilitated the Market Settlement Subcommittee and all PJM member settlement interactions. Prior to her positions at PJM, Ms. Stadelmeyer held key regulatory roles at Exelon Generation where she advocated for competitive market rule changes in the PJM arena.
